Committed to Buying, Building, and Preserving What Matters

My name is Austin Schwartz and my goal is to buy and operate a business.

Growing up in Tampa, Florida, I didn’t fully appreciate my parents’ entrepreneurial spirit. While they ran their own businesses in the healthcare industry, most of my extended family worked as teachers, doctors and lawyers. From a young age, I thought I wanted to be a lawyer. But even back then my entrepreneurial instincts led me to seek out ways to earn extra money. I dabbled in buying and selling various items and even enlisted friends to help search for shark teeth on the beach to sell—only to later realize our beach didn’t have any sharks!

During college, I was still leaning towards attending law school until a summer internship at a bank in Hong Kong opened my eyes to the reality of the profession. I realized that rather than writing legal memos the elicited audible groans from business teams, I wanted to be leading those teams and driving the business forward.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with exceptional organizations. From revamping the customer service center at a century-old industrial supply company to securing a seven-figure marketing partnership during batting practice on the field at Yankee Stadium, I’ve consistently sought to make a meaningful impact on every organization I have been a part of.

As great as those experiences were I have taken the plunge to pursue my entrepreneurial ambitions. This time however, instead of searching for shark teeth, I am looking to acquire a company where I can make an impact while preserving the legacy the owner has built.
